Synopsis:
England 1979. The bitter ‘Winter of Discontent’. Strikes. Picket lines. Mountains of rubbish choke the snow bound streets. The Iron Lady is set to bag No 10, and 'Misstra Know It All' isn't only in the pop charts… in Rizzini’s Cafe, a backstreet Italian greasy-spoon in the heart of Brighton, the last of a dying breed of Knocker Boys (door-to-door conmen), are each trying to talk their way into one last major score, before the law, the new Sale of Goods Act, and the rapidly shifting sands of British society catch up to them. And if that score should happen to include the priceless lost memoir of ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, and a beguiling young waitress from Naples, then so much the better.
